The immunotherapy revolution in lung cancer continues, as clinical practice and research build on achievements made in advanced NSCLC and aim to extend the benefits of immunotherapies to earlier stages. Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy is routinely used as consolidation following chemoradiation for patients with stage III unresectable NSCLC.
