This past weekend sound vision sponsored the Save Uighur benefit dinner where almost 200 thousand dollars was raised for the save uighur campaign (www.saveuighur.org). We're joined in studio by one of the featured speakers and awardees, Uighur Activist Aydin Anwar who gave an amazing presentation on the plight of the Uighur people in China. In the second half Tariq is joined by Ibrahim Baig, and the two discuss the media coverage of the Notre Dame Cathedral fire in comparison to the near silence that the bulldozing of a nearly 800 year old mosque in China has received by the same media outlets.
