Dr. Asmaa Abada is a first-generation Muslim Arab American woman establishing herself in the medical field. She recently graduated from Podiatry school and is currently working at St. John Macomb Hospital as a first-year resident. In today’s episode, Asmaa is sharing her family’s story of fleeing Iraq in the middle of the night and immigrating to the United States. This inspirational woman is using her experiences of thriving in a new culture to become a compassionate physician.
