The deer, wild pigs, ground squirrels, the dead dirt, the drought, the heat. It was all so extreme in the Central Valley of California that most people thought it was impossible to garden there unless you spent more money and time than it was worth. I didn’t have money - I had the ability to research, study, and test the most cutting edge and advanced gardening techniques though - I had access to land and the internet. There are many amazing techniques, methodologies, and disciplines
