Relentless Mentality

Jason Kidd embodied the qualities of a Hall of Fame player throughout the course of his NBA career. He was fiercely competitive; he was devoted to playing perfect team basketball; he was a tireless worker and student of the game, meticulously professional in everything he did on the court. Every team he ever played for was dramatically more successful after his arrival, and dramatically less so after his departure. Kidd was a ten-time NBA All-Star, a five-time All-NBA First Team member, and a nine-time NBA All-Defensive Team member. He won an NBA Championship in 2011 as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, and was a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner during his pro career, as part of Team USA in 2000 and 2008. Most recently, Kidd was inducted to the 2018 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
