Sidney's Full Bio: Dr. Sidney Shaw has been a mental health counselor since 2002 and he has worked in a variety of settings. His clinical experience includes working in rural community mental health in Alaska, Adventure Based Counseling in schools, medical clinic settings, Alaska Native villages, and private practice. Dr. Shaw has conducted trainings and presentations at national, regional, state, and local levels and was selected as the keynote speaker for a state counseling association annual conference. He has published in the Journal of Mental Health Counseling, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, The Family Journal, and several articles in Counseling Today.
