1st Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:1-11 Gospel Reading: John 12:1-11 The text and sermon title for the weekend for April 2nd will continue the theme of the Cross of Christ. The Gospel reading is six days before Passover and ends the day before Palm Sunday. The anointing beyond imagination is the anointing Jesus receives from Mary just as He enters Holy Week, beyond our imagination because it is an anointing unto death.
