I’m excited to be back this second week of season 3, with another amazing guest lined up for you. Dr. Emily Kirkwold is the woman behind Natural Family Planning Pharmacist, and is the expert on all things fertility related - as well as the opposite side of that when it comes to contraception. She is also the host of her own podcast, called Wholly a Woman, and I was featured on her show last week! Dr. Emily Kirkwold earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University in 2013. Upon graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at United Hospital, part of Allina Health. She currently works at Mercy Hospital, part of Allina Health. In 2019, Emily completed the Delivering Medication Therapy Management certificate program. Shortly after, she started her business, NFP Pharmacist, where she sees patients for natural family planning consultations and medication/supplement reviews.
