Most egregious error: I talk about the "Mi'kmaw", which is how you pronounce Mi'kmaq, but I did not realize it at the time. So I was saying the correct word, but I was using it as though it was some other tribe. It's not. I was referring to Mi'kmaq which is properly pronounced meeg mah. Sorry for my ignorance, but this mistake has led me to more discoveries! Did you know that "ni'kmaq" actually means "my friends"?
