On Being Animals

The one, the only, the other other Rick Deez came by the On Being Animals studio to give us a weekly top 40 about the Social Underwater Alpha. Ricky had great questions and shared some great personal stories that brought us to feeding dogs peanut butter, supporting moms, cold penis, and crushing pennies. Most egregious error: I messed up the sound again, which is frustrating. Or maybe Ricky is really loud. Or maybe both. I also missed a basic fact check on this animal's colouration. The colouration is striking, but it is in fact for camouflage while underwater.  Science level: the plural of anecdote is not science, but heck, anecdotes are fascinating.
