This is a Bonus Interview Episode with Nancy Roberts. It was recorded on March 23, 2021 and edited for publication on April 20, 2021.  “I can’t even remember learning to knit. I started spinning and dyeing over 40 years ago. Five years ago I bought a knitting machine as a tool for dyeing. I make yarn with long repeats of color by machine knitting undyed yarn, dyeing the knitted fabric, and re-knitting it. I have written articles in Spin-Off and Knitwords magazines and I teach this technique at my studio in the SF Bay Area and at guilds and conferences around North America.
