So in the last WEB episode 06 of this “Is Organic Food Better For You” series we looked at the definition of what certified organic means, which included terms such as produce grown free from synthetic chemical pesticides, herbicides, sewage, fertilizers, hormones, antibiotics and Genetically Modified Organisms. And then I described the markings or logos that you should become familiar with to ensure that the produce you are purchasing is certified organic such as the USDA logo in the United States or the NASAA logo in Australia.
