This week I talk to Actress and comedian Sarah J. Halstead. You may have seen her on stage doing comedy or on TV in numerous commercials. She has acted in the crime re-enactment show, Deadly Sins, as well as Meet the Roommate—a movie she played the leading role in, and wrote and produced. As a Flint, Michigan native, the recent Flint water crisis hit a little too close to home for Sarah, so she organized “Stand-up for Flint!” a charity event where she along with 9 other comics from Michigan perform at Flappers comedy club in Burbank, CA on December 8th, 2016 at 8pm. 100% of the proceeds go to help the people of Flint.
