This Week on Uncontained I talk to rapper IMERICJONES. We talk about his dilemma between going to college to make his family happy despite not finding fulfillment in college or pursue his asperation of becoming a rapper. With the philosophy that he could always go back to school but only had the present to chase after his dream of performing. This decision was reached by never wanting to have to ask himself “What if?” His clothing line of Books VS. Beats was born and helped to go viral by funk and soul group Tank and the Bangas wearing them in a video. We also talk about how he has a more aggressive approach to getting on stage because he got started in his mid-20’s he had to make up for lost time and had a goal to hit the stage 5 times per-week. We also talk about how he has found motivation from Gary Vee and may soon creating a podcast some time in the near future.
