Episode 42! This episode we put on our religious/theological hats and talk about the season of Advent. K surprises J with a belated birthday bottle of Mionetto Prosecco while she enjoys Fre alcohol-removed Brut (or sophisticated sparkling grape juice). J's wants to make an appeal for the season of Advent. Topics include: writing, self-reflection, slowing down, less focus on commercialism, loss of hospitality and charity, and reclaiming a season of giving back. We also highlight some ways you can give back this holiday season, including knitting/donating hats/gloves/scarves for people experiencing homelessness, donating to food banks, Toys for Tots, or other nonprofit opportunities.
