Murder On Our Minds

The Cheshire Murders, Claire's True Crime case takes us to Cheshire, Connecticut.    Sunday 22nd of July 2007, the Petit Family are having a relaxing Sunday. William Petit, an endocrinologist, had spent the day playing golf with this father. His Daughter, 17 year old Hayley, had spent the day at the beach with her friends. Bill's wife, Jennifer Hawke-Petit, a nurse had planned to prepare a pre-birthday mean with their 11 year old daughter Michaela. The pair went the local Stop&Shop to buy groceries for dinner. While shopping, the two were noticed by career criminal, Joshua Komisarjevsky, who targeted them as being wealthy and unbeknownst to Jennifer and Michaela, decided to follow them back to their  home.  Komisarjevsky, who had a string of previous offences, including multiple burglaries, contacted his new "partner in crime" Steven Hayes.
