Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; God's Word & Creation So far we have seen Wisdom referred to allegorically as a woman… Now we are finding a bit more about her origin. Solomon tells us that the Lord is the one who gives wisdom. Ok, let’s take a look at this phrase: “from his mouth”. “from his mouth come knowledge and understanding” Remember in Genesis 1 how God in all his wisdom, knowledge and understanding spoke. Genesis 1:3: And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And Psalms 33:9 says: For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The universe was created by his word. Hebrews 11:3 says: By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
