Ron Poarch preaches on Genesis 31:1-55 on July 22 2007. Jacob has served Laban for 20 years now under many hardships. Laban has been oppressing Jacob that he may profit off of Jacob, yet in doing so Laban not only oppresses his daughters who married Jacob. But God is also greatly blessing Jacob, and Laban sees this blessing from God as his own loss. Laban and his sons are growing angry and wrestless with Jacob, and finally God tells Jacob to head back to the land of his fathers (Canaan).
