Ron Poarch preaches on 2 Peter 1:5-11 on October 14 2007. Peter begins the letter to Christians in speaking of God's enabling our salvation through faith. God has given us everything in His power to be saved. Peter now clarifies this further, stating that God has worked our salvation so that we must actively aim to obey God. We see this is the result of God's salvation, not a work we do to obtain salvation.
