What begins with a question asked by a mother of two of the disciples leads Jesus to a profound phrase about the life his followers are called to live. The mother is asking the same thing many of us have asked for our children, "God, please give my children a life of blessing." We discover that sometimes parents are trying to negotiate our children OUT of God's real plan for the sake of what WE want.
