AI is improving design in India thanks to New Delhi-based nonprofit TARA and MIT graduate student Mohamed Ismail. 2) OpenAI and Google attempt to understand machine vision. Industries from health care to self-driving cars are using machine vision systems.3) Nonprofit uses tech to give independence to the elderly and disabled. The Arc of Midland, a Michigan nonprofit organization that promotes the welfare of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, launched Project Lifesaver, a search and rescue system that uses FM radio waves to locate a lost person.
