We all make excuses that drive us away from our priorities. And today we learn from Haggai and the excuses we make in our relationship with God. For the people of Israel were building their own houses and not rebuilding God’s house. As we apply that in our lives today, we have to ask ourselves are we building God’s kingdom, or are we building our own kingdom?
