Having unrealistic expectations in relationships can prevent you from finding real love. We all listened to tales of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella when we were kids and have held on to the fantasy that "some day my prince will come". In the real world, this usually does not happen, and yet, most of us want it. Instead of seeing the reality of the relationship in front of us we can allow our fantasies to distort real love.
