Hints are subtle. They can help us uncover more details and find answers, but we have to really be able to see them to get them. When it comes to our romantic relationships, dating and love, hints can present themselves in several different ways. These are intended to allow us to see the reality of the situation and provide little glimpses into feelings, intentions and behaviors your romantic partner or person or interest may be trying to hide.  Furthermore, in romantic situations, both parties may be throwing their own hints, and be completely oblivious to the little clues that are being sent in their direction. Hints are like clues to the future, and if we pay more attention to them we can shape the future of our relationships, avoid the wrong relationships, and detour around the potholes in our relationships.
