Today is Passion or Palm Sunday, the day we celebrate our Lord's entry into Jerusalem as Israel's Messiah and King. But what kind of king? Jesus rejected the worldly notions of kings with their self-aggrandizing agendas and policies. Instead, he would come as a humble servant, following the will of his Father to accomplish our ultimate Exodus, and therein lies the rub for us because we want no part of that kind of king.
