EP 14: Amanda’s son, Ethan is officially a high schooler! Chris and his wife Chelsea finished their kitchen cabinets for under $300 and their marriage intact! Amanda and Chris sit down with Gene Vaughan, broker-owner of RE/MAX Alliance and Fort Collins resident since 1965! He might have come for the party, but has also shown to be a business wiz! Gene is a ‘farm boy’ that moved to Fort Collins for CSU to study business, but he cultivated a vision to be a physical education teacher and basketball coach, so he Graduated CSU with a masters in education. He fell in love with the excitement of real estate after seeing his father buy and sell several ranches; so with the support of his family, he took his career in the organic direction of real estate. He states that the business will have ups and downs; it is important to stay the course. Seeds that are planted don’t grow immediately.
