Happy Pride month from Headfirst Radio!  To celebrate, we're talking all about authenticity! I'll take you through one of my biggest, longest-lasting stumbling blocks in working toward discovering and LIVING as my most authentic self. How my coming out jived with my small-town, Catholic upbringing...how much it SUCKS to have to risk loss, judgement, and triggering fear/discomfort in those around you, particularly those you really care about, in order to live in a truly authentic way...and how going through that journey has set me up to take even MORE risks, and be even MORE open to living my life as the best possible version of myself.  We all hide or cast aside certain parts of ourselves in order to fit into the "shoulds" our society, belief systems, or friends/families place on us - even though we know it's complete bullshit, and we're not living in alignment with who we are, and what truly brings us joy.
