HISTORY  Mr. Rivers signed with the Denver Broncos in 1991 as an undrafted free agent running back out of Southwest Texas State University (now renamed Texas State University). He played 6 seasons with the Broncos.  In 1991, he was named to Pro Football Weekly’s All-Rookie Team as a special teams player and in 1992, he won the Broncos Community Action Player Award in recognition of his volunteer service throughout Colorado.
