In 2010, and at just 16 years of age, Jessica Watson became the youngest person to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world. Since then some of her many accomplishments has been named Young Australian of the Year in 2011, and later in 2012 received an Order of Australia Medal for services to sailing and being a role model for the youth of Australia. She continues to be a rising star in youth sailing and the boating industry as a whole.
