EPISODE 4 John Titor the Time Traveler???? John Titor was active on Internet forums during the late 1990's he claimed to be a time traveler from 2036.  His mission was to go back and retrieve an IBM 5100 computer from 1975.  A computer that his government needed to fix legacy systems and only that computer could do it.  John was Time Travelor_0 prior to revealing his name as John Titor.  He had faxed in letters to Art Bell who hosted a nationwide late night radio show at the time (is is now Coast to Coast).  Art read the letters on the radio, and over the next few years John appeared on the Art Bell BBS, where your host interacted with him.   A hoax?  Probably, he made predictions that never happened, but could be explained by a diverging timeline.  At the end of the day it was a lot of fun and lore that people still discuss today.  Have fun with it.
