The Blues dominated the Capitals in their previous win and started the Game aginst the Islanders in the same fashion. The Blues only allowed 8 shots on goal in the first two periods and were up 2-1 going in to the third period. The Blues defense and Jake Allen fell apart in the third and allowed 3 Islander goals on just 6 shots on goal.
