Robert Primes PT first rose to fame locally as a football star at Prairie View A&M and Navarro Jr. College, where he won a national championship. In 2015, he left football behind to fully commit to pursuing a career as a singer-songwriter. Since the release of his first single, he's opened for major hip hop acts such as Lil Boosie and Kevin Gates, and performed on the main stage of The Go-DJ Hip Hop Awards where he earned a nomination for "Best New Song of the Year
