.Sometimes we are so focused on defending the "culture" of a parish, diocese, or the Church, while changing structures and introducing programs. However, the culture is what ought to change, for it is the spirit in that culture that must constantly undergo an assessment of its principles and degree of faithfulness. Structures mean nothing without this first being a priority. Within the diocese of London, having only 14% of her Catholics practicing the faith (86 % do not practice their faith), no one should really be flying the banner of our Catholic-Culture. Rather we need to repent, and find a renewed spirit of faithfulness.
