Back in the very distant February of 2009 when Big Up was a small few-months-old baby and New Zealand’s back-then-trio Truth were somewhat of a teenager bubbling up in the dubstep genre, the two parties combined and released the Big Up Podcast mix #4 which has become one of the most downloaded Big Up mixes. Over the course of the following couple years, while Truth (now duo) have grown into the dons of the deep heavy bass, we invited them to play our show in SF, published an extensive feature on the Truth sound, and even ate a whole grilled chicken together in one seating. Yes, we go way back(forward). This excellent mix we present to you today consists 90% of their original material and is indeed the true face of Truth
