Encourage your kids to stay away from screens. Get them outdoors, make them play with toys, with blocks, or the like. Have them sing, learn an instrument, etc. It's ok for kids to watch TV for fun, but it shouldn't be their whole day. Lead by example -- if safe to do so, leave your phone at home sometimes.
