He doesn't want to be! That being said, he respects that some people love and value religion. For Vinnie, realizing the fire and brimstone was not true to him was very freeing. However, Vinnie still believes in the power and importance of service. Anna saw first-hand how the church can be very demeaning and sexist with her mom. AIRPLANES AND OBESITY Airplanes can only take a certain amount of weight. With the rise of obesity, planes may be able to hold fewer people. The FAA may institute weighing of passengers to make sure the planes aren't over weight. There is a lot of outcry about this, but it does seem in the interest of safety.
