This is followed by “Asato Ma Sat Gamaya,” which is the desire to attain the highest. And then a quote from the Upanishads, a Shanti Mantra, “Om Purnamadah Purnamidam.” And this then concludes with “Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.” The sung text: Asato Ma Sad Gamaya Tamaso Ma Jyotir Gamaya Nrityor Manritan Gamaya Spiritual translation Asato Ma Sad Gamaya: Om – lead me from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light, from mortality to immortality.
