Coach is on Fire

The Coach - Coach Vorgang began his career as the head lacrosse coach at Niskayauna in 1993 at the age of twenty- three. Prior to Coach Vorgang’s arrival the school had never had a lacrosse team. Since the beginning the program Coach Vorgang has won multiple Capital District High School Lacrosse Championships as well as appearing in the New York State Championship. On July 1, 2009 Coach Vorgang was inducted into the Adirondack Chapter of US Lacrosse Hall of Fame. A Quote- Team does not believe in quote, but prefers mottos. Last years motto was “be better.” Adversity- Coping with loss off the field is real life. When a player experienced the loss of a love one off the field Coach took the opportunity to teach the young men about real life. Many of the players on Coach Vorgang’s team had never been to a funeral, but Coach believes it is important for his players to support one another both on and off the field.
