Coach is on Fire

The Coach- Coach Dom Starsia was a football player at Brown University when he was first introduced to lacrosse. He has been the head coach at the University of Virginia for twenty- three seasons. During his time at the University of Virginia the men’s lacrosse program has won four national championships and has appeared in the final four on thirteen occasions. Roebling Adversity- During the 2011 season Coach Starsia had to make the difficult decision to dismiss two of the best players from the team. The team understood that tough decisions must be made. In that void the team was able to come together and new team leaders were able to emerge. That year the team went on to win the national championship.
