Coach is on Fire

The Coach- Iowa native Coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, Coach Abe for short, is the head coach for the University at Albany women’s basketball program. Since becoming the head coach for the Great Danes Coach Abe’s team has one three America East conference titles. As a player Coach Abe played two years at the University of Georgia, two years at Iowa (where her team one the Big Ten Conference twice), and one year professionally in New Zealand. The three- time America East coach of the year is now excited to enter her fifth season as head coach for the University at Albany.
