Coach is on Fire

The Coach Coach Barefoot is in her second year as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Old Dominion. Coach Barefoot played basketball collegiately at Christopher Newport. With 15 years of head coaching experience Coach Barefoot has put together an impressive resume. She has put together twelve winning seasons and has been named the National Coach of the Year twice. Coach Barefoot is excited for this year’s team and the season being just around the corner. That year the team traveled to Tennessee to take on the Lady Volunteers. It was a real learning experience for the young players. Coach took several timeouts throughout the game to remind the players that this was a great learning experience and anytime you are learning you should not feel defeated.
