People are realizing the nihilism and post modernism that they have been told is cool is vapid and empty and they are looking for more. If you are a regular church goer please be kind as new people show up, even if they sit in "your" seat. Going to church can feel intimidating and scary, especially if you've been told church people are awful for a long time.
