The final pre-training camp defensive grades are here... and let’s just say, the Texans might be building a defensive monster in 2025. We kick off with the DB room, which I’m officially nicknaming the “Don’t Bait” squad — because Derek Stingley Jr., Kamari Lassiter, Calen Bullock, and CJ Gardner-Johnson will bait quarterbacks into game-changing turnovers. Grade? A — and possibly the NFL’s best secondary in the making.But it doesn’t stop there. The defensive line gets an A+ and it’s not up for debate. Will Anderson Jr. + Danielle Hunter = 23 combined sacks, relentless pressure, and a unit that dictated games. This front sets the tone.And then there’s Linebacker 101: Why Houston absolutely needs Christian Harris on the field. He’s fast, versatile, and gives DeMeco Ryans more ways to get creative. Grade?
