Today's show title is lovingly borrowed from my daughter, when she was four years old. While sharing a quiet moment she mentioned how someone was teasing her for a part of her body and she wasn’t sure how to react. My heart broke.  Searching for the blessing in the experience, I realized this presented an opportunity to delve into the lesson of loving oneself - wholeheartedly. After a few minutes of chatting in a manner she would understand, I was floored by her inherent wisdom! “If they REALLY want to talk about me, then they can talk about my pretty parts!” It has taken me DECADES to understand that concept. I’ve spent years of insecurity and doubt, constantly comparing myself to everyone around me, and those in the media. It took the innocence of a four year old telling it like it is, for me to realize how simple self-love begins. So simple. So perfect. Now I get to practice.
