Best selling Author April J. Ford didn't write her story in Chase The Challenge and Conquer, My 4 R's: Rubble, Recovery, Rebuild, Relationships just because she became a widow at the age of 32, her story began before this. April was born in San Francisco, California and raised in the surrounding Bay Area and Sacramento area. She attended California State University, Sacramento, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. She began her engineering career with Intel Corporation. April is the Owner of J.O.Y. “joys of yah” (inspired by her middle name and Yah short for Yahweh- translating to God). The vision of J.O.Y. is to share and spread April’s joys and blessings with the rest of the world by providing motivational books-products, speaking engagements, and wellness coaching.
