After losing their oldest of seven children, Cal, to leukemia at the age of 13,  Tom and his wife co-founded Cal’s Angels a non-profit organization located in South Elgin, Illinois, that grants the wishes of children battling cancer and financially assists their families. Tom is the president of the organization and his duties include chief fundraiser, branding and marketing.
