Please join me me on “The Dedan Tolbert Show” as we celebrate the life and album release of Lisa “left Eye” Lopes”. Tonight, I’ll be joined by the soulful group, Egypt, who was mentored by Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Egypt was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. The band members include Joy Lonon, Katrina Gibson, and Sophia Gibson. These Three girls formed a group fresh out of elementary school, and it's their amazing talent and friendship that keeps their chemistry flowing. Egypt writes and produces most of their music and they are open to other writers and producers as well. The group also plays live instruments and has a distinct heart felt sound which sets them aside from many other groups. Egypt is also known for their smooth harmonious, creativity, and acting skills in addition to their silly, bubbly, and humble personalities.
