Scott Cluthe’s first guest Tuesday night is Genie James, co-author of In The Mood Again. Genie James, M.M.Sc. is nationally acknowledged as a trailblazer in women’s health services. With a Masters of Medical Science from Emory University and Ph.D. studies at the University of Tennessee, she spent more than twenty years championing holistic approaches to women’s health and consulting with physicians and hospitals across the country. Genie’s first two award-winning books, Making Managed Care Work and Winning in the Women’s Health Care Marketplace reflected these themes knocking the traditional medical community on its ear. Genie convinced C.W. Randolph, Jr., M.D., R.Ph. that they should co-found The Natural Hormone Institute to create a vehicle that would educate the consumer and physicians about the safety and efficacy of bioidentical hormone replacement therapies (BHRT).
