Gullah/geechee Nation

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation host "Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio" on behalf of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition. This episode begins the 2011 Women's History Month series. Queen Quet will focus on women from and within the Gullah/Geechee Nation from Harriet Tubman to Assata Shakur that have been freedom fighters and the stands that they have taken for the rights of the people.
