Desmond Bohn, MC, BCH, discusses his editorial, "The Problem of Acute Hyponatremia in Hospitalized Children: The Solution is the Solution," which was published in the November 2008 issue of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. The editorial was in response to an article by P. Alvarez-Montanana et al, published in the same issue titled, "The use of isotonic fluid as maintenance therapy prevents iatrogenic hyponatremia in pediatrics: A randomized, controlled open study."
